Top Teens of America

North Atlanta Chapter

Top Teens of America is a volunteer organization that has served thousands of youths both nationally and internationally. It is sponsored by Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD), a humanitarian organization that address today’s challenges affecting the world by supporting women, children, and senior citizens in the community.

The organizations maintain strong ties to the community through partnerships with community supporters such as Keep America Beautiful, United Negro College Fund (UNCF), Sickle Cell Disease Association of America (SCDAA), National Association for the advancement of Colored People (NAACP), March of Dimes, St. Jude, and the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (NCNW).

You may know some of our partners, but what you may not know is all of the great things we have done in our local community such as letter-writing campaigns to senior citizens who may be isolated during the pandemic, raising funds to send kids living with sickle cell disease to “Camp New Hope”, co-sponsoring UNCF College Readiness Workshops, co-hosting bingo games at local nursing facilities, beautification of our communities, crafting with nursing home patients, assisting in keeping homeless women and children safe through personal protective equipment drives, beautification and regular clean up of our highways, collecting and supplying comfort packages to the “March of Dimes,” participating in national and area leadership conferences, participating in the “Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO)” through the NAACP and much, much more.

TTA Focused on ExCELLENCE

ExCEL, our National TTA Program of Work, is a platform to help our Teens explore, grow and thrive through integrated, or blended activities. Activities are identified in three (3) pillars of engagement: Culture, Education, and Leadership. To support the execution of each pillar, we will share best practices and provide standards of “Excellence” to assist Advisors with planning.
